Dual-Foam Midsole: The main body uses plush FF BLAST™ MAX cushioning, but ASICS has embedded a premium race-day FF TURBO™ SQUARED trampoline pod in the forefoot. This injection of super-shoe foam delivers an explosive, spring-like toe-off when picking up the pace.
Upgraded Outsole: Moving away from previous slicker compounds, the outsole now features high-traction ASICSGRIP™ rubber in the forefoot. This yields significantly better grip on wet roads and more efficient power transfer during transitions.
Engineered Woven Upper: The traditional mesh is replaced by a breathable, adaptive engineered woven mesh borrowed from high-tier models like the Superblast 3. It features a plush, secure heel collar that holds the foot locked down over long miles.
