P35X™ Dual-Density Midsole: Replacing the old EGO™ MAX foam, this brand-new foam features a plush, cushiony core underfoot wrapped in a firmer perimeter rim. Vibram® XS Run AW Outsole: In a massive structural departure, Altra partnered with Vibram to supply a pavement-specific rubber compound. It drastically increases underfoot rubber coverage and provides 20% better traction on wet and dry concrete compared to the Torin 8.
Refined Lockdown Fit: The engineered mesh upper introduces an elevated, extended tongue alongside a redesigned heel collar. It also integrates two new ghillie lace loops across the midfoot to completely eliminate the heel slippage issues reported in previous versions.
