Ever wonder what gear is used to train for an Ironman?

The lists below contain two sets of data.  First, the footwear I train in and what the main use for that footwear is.  I have no decided what my "go to" running shoe is yet, nor have I decided what shoe I'll run the race in.  Lots of time for that.  

After next week's discussion of coaching, once a week I'll post a review of one or two or three shoes a week until the list is exhausted.  

Below footwear are things like my bike trainer for virtual rides, my bike, my treadmill, all of the various Garmin devices I use, the main water bottle I use (because I LOVE it), the various nutrition I use and what apps are used for tracking me, my progress or just to make virtual training more fun (less boring actually).  The list could get a lot more detailed if I included my training wheels versus my race wheels, what tri suit I train in, what cycling chamois I prefer, my socks, etc. etc. etc.  

One note, since having kidney stones 2 times, I've learned a lot about things like hydration and blood pressure.  I monitor my blood pressure almost daily and yes, I am on blood pressure meds, which apparently no matter how healthy I get, I will never get off of it.
